Building a yacht is a highly personal process that reflects you, your lifestyle and that of your family. Together we establish the size and scale of your requirements to meet your budgets. This encompasses every detail, from cruising range to number of cabins and the very appurtenances that define your lifestyle. We work to exceed your expectations from before the tendering process begins to after the sea trials and final delivery.
KEY FACTS
FROM VISION TO REALITY
Our process brings together and manages our network of experts across multiple steps:
From the number of cabins to the number of nautical miles, our first conversation will focus on what you want. Crucially, we focus on how you want to use your yacht. For this we need to understand your hobbies and interests. This could be from diving and exploring to dining and wellbeing.
Understanding your needs, we shortlist a number of yachts from public and private sale markets. From this selection you choose which you wish to view before moving to make an offer - or refining your choices further.
Once we’ve found your chosen yacht, retaining full discretion, we need to consider the offer we will make on your behalf. This is where our experience, knowledge and diplomacy set us apart.
Establishing agreements in principle, and prior to contracts, we are clear to approve a technical inspection and corresponding sea trial. This ensures you receive exactly the yacht you want at the price you are willing to pay.
Once the technical specification has been satisfied, we involve our network of leading maritime lawyers to develop the contract. This includes specific warranties, any necessary maintenance, and all included items.
Prior to exchange we will have found and prepared the right yacht management company. This ensures all paperwork and insurance cover is in place. At an agreed time and date, the yacht moves into international waters for the exchange, then… CONGRATULATIONS! You’re the proud owner of your superyacht.
